Interwoven Forms I – Original Woodcut

This print belongs to a series of nine woodcuts exploring how nature gradually fades from everyday life. Organic forms appear fragmented and almost schematic, as if the landscape had become more distant, blurred or difficult to recognise.

The piece is printed on tracing paper, whose transparency and lightness reinforce the idea of something that is slipping away or becoming almost invisible. Designed as part of a layered group, each print acts as a layer of memory: depending on the light and viewpoint, some areas become clearer while others dissolve, echoing how our connection with the Earth can erode almost unnoticed.
